ElevateGlizzy ("the app", "we", "us") is a mobile app that generates joke weekly meal plans consisting entirely of hotdog variations, plus a tapping game with an optional global leaderboard. This page explains what data is and isn't collected when you use it.
Using the app without signing in
The meal planner, the clicker, the shop and the recipe book all work fully signed out, and that is the default. In that state the app has no way to identify you: your glizzy balance, upgrades, unlocked recipes and settings are written only to your own device's storage and are never transmitted to us. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Ads still appear, and Google collects advertising data as described below. That happens whether or not you sign in.
If you choose to sign in
Signing in with Google or Apple exists for one purpose: to put your score on the global leaderboard, which needs a stable identity to rank. It is entirely optional, and nothing else in the app is gated behind it.
We use Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, both operated by Google, as our backend. When you sign in we receive and store:

Your email address is never shown on the leaderboard and is never derived from. If your Google or Apple account has no display name set, you appear as "Anonymous Glizzler" rather than as anything identifying. Signing in with Apple also lets you use Hide My Email, in which case we only ever see Apple's relay address, not your real one.
Reporting and hiding other players
Because the leaderboard shows names and pictures taken from players' Google and Apple profiles, it gives you two ways to deal with a player you'd rather not see. They work differently, and only one of them involves us.
Hiding a player is entirely local. The choice is saved on your own device and takes effect immediately. Nothing is transmitted, we are never told about it, and the player you hid is not notified. Uninstalling the app clears the list.
Reporting a player does send us something. When you file a report we record your user ID, the reported player's user ID, the display name they were using at the time, the reason you picked from the list, and the time. There is no free-text box. We keep the display name as it was when you reported it, because it can be changed the moment it draws attention, and without it the report would say nothing.
Reports go to a private collection that no one using the app can read back — not you, not the person you reported, not anyone else. They are reviewed by us and are not shown on the leaderboard. If you are reported, you are not notified and your score and ranking are unaffected by the report itself.
Purchases
Some recipes can be unlocked with real money. Those transactions are handled entirely by Google Play (or the App Store) — we never see or receive your card details, billing address or payment credentials. The app receives only a confirmation that a specific product was purchased, and records the unlock on your device. The store also reports aggregate sales to us through its own console.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
ElevateGlizzy is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google's SDK collects device and advertising identifiers (such as your Android Advertising ID), approximate location, and ad interaction data, and may use this data to personalize the ads you see, subject to your consent choice below.
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us — we never see or store it ourselves. Google's own policies govern it:
Some ads are optional and rewarded — you choose to watch one in exchange for a temporary bonus in the game. Watching them is never required.
Your ad consent choice
On first launch, if you're in a region that requires it (the EEA, UK, or similar), the app shows Google's standard consent form so you can choose whether ads are personalized. You can change that choice at any time from the Privacy Options link at the bottom of the home screen.
Sharing your meal plan
When you use the Share button, the app hands an image and some text to your device's own share sheet. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice — the app never transmits it anywhere itself and does not see who you shared it with.
Children's privacy
ElevateGlizzy is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you are under the age at which you can consent to data processing in your country, please do not sign in — the rest of the app works without an account.
Where your data is processed
Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore are operated by Google and may process and store data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Google acts as our data processor for this; see the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.
How long we keep things
- Signed out: nothing is kept by us at all. Your game progress lives on your device until you delete the app.
- Signed in: your account record and leaderboard rows are kept until you delete your account. Past leaderboard periods are retained as history, so an old score can remain on a past day's or week's board until deletion.
- Reports: a report is kept until it has been reviewed and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that a repeated pattern from the same account can be recognised. Because a report is a record about two people, deleting your own account does not automatically erase reports you filed or reports filed about you — see below.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time: Leaderboard → the account icon → Delete my account. This removes all of your leaderboard rows and then your account itself. It cannot be undone.
If you can no longer access the app, you can request deletion instead — see the account deletion page or email us at the address below. We will delete your account and leaderboard rows within 30 days of a verified request.
Deleting your account does not remove game progress stored on your device; uninstalling the app does that. It also does not automatically remove moderation reports, which are stored separately and cannot be reached from inside the app. Email us at the address below and we will delete those too, within 30 days of a verified request. Advertising data held by Google is managed through your device's ad settings, where you can reset or opt out of your advertising ID.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that changes what's collected — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
